Foods
  • Company A is a local food maker with the ability to create distinctive products. They achieved success by creating popular instant noodles for the overseas market.

Snacks
  • Company B outsourced overseas sales to a major trading company but the sales in Southeast Asia were sluggish. The Southeast Asian region is where J & C is particularly strong, and the staff from the destination country act as sales representativs to develop new businesses and introduce products in the local language with buyers. Furthermore, our true strength is that we understand the local lifestyle and consumption behavior to conduct sales activities. We are able to utilize this strength to expand our local market share.

  • Company C used to manufacture National Brand products for the domestic market. As the Japanese population shrinks, they decided to make Private Brand products for overseas export in order to further increase the manufacturing capacity of the current factory. Since there are prohibited additives in the destination country, J&C proposed alternative additives, redesigned the product, and made a PB product with a name suitable for the destination. Currently, they are expanding exports to Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.

  • There are many export routes to the overseas markets but many companies in Hong Kong stopped handling them as they were non profitable due to collapsing prices. However, J&C’s export route is able to continue buying and exporting products at a regular price. This is achieved by having an exclusive sales agreement with J&C and having regular business updates with the overseas businesses. A win-win relationship is formed and full containers of products can be exported each month.

Beverages
  • Beverages with popular flavors such as macha and peach are also sold overseas. J&C is always open for new opportunities, actively supporting the overseas market. Please feel free to contact us.

Alcohol
  • Enquiries are received from overseas customers to set up Private Brand products. J&C asked company “X” to make a product, an example is fermented plum liquor. The materials were sold out within two months as local purchasers were confident the products were Private Brand. Such business opportunities are increasingly expanding under J&C.

Fresh foods
  • J&C also exports fresh produce. Aichi prefecture in central Japan is Japan’s leading producer of agricultural products. This consumer market specializing in a variety of fresh foods guarantees a high quality of produce to be safely exported. J&C had recently been exporting the sweet potato Beniharu, which has a distinctive sweet flavor. Seafoods, such as frozen scallops and dried sea cucumbers are also exported.

Daily commodities
  • J&C is able to supply National Brand NB products in par with some of Japan’s wholesale companies.
